Established in 1967, Delverde has been producing quality pasta according to traditional methods from the heart of the Majella National Park in Abruzzo for over half a century. Delverde pasta is made with just two simple ingredients:  spring water and durum wheat semolina selected from predominantly Italian wheat, with some coming from abroad. The result is a pasta with exceptional nutritional properties, perfect for people looking for healthy products, without giving up on taste.

THE NAME DELVERDE REFLECTS COMPANY’S PRODUCTION PHILOSOPHY, WHICH IS INSPIRED BY THE PURE SPRING WATER THAT RUNS INTO THE RIVER VERDE, FROM THE SLOPES OF THE MAJELLA MOUNTAIN, JUST BEHIND PRODUCTION PLANT. IT’S A PHILOSOPHY THAT HAS ALWAYS WALKED HAND IN HAND WITH NATURE, SHOWING UTMOST RESPECT FOR EVERYTHING IT OFFERS US.

 

Unspoilt and pure, the water of the River Verde helps to showcase the characteristics of the best durum wheat semolina, whose high protein content ensures an “al dente” finish every time. The use of bronze dies and a slow drying process at a low temperature complete the production process, giving the pasta an unmistakeable flavour. This method allows us to preserve the nutritional values of the pasta and showcase the delicate yet lasting flavour that has become so popular among pasta lovers and chefs all over the world.
